Diagnostic Imaging of Salem is currently recruiting for a part-time, Imaging Systems Support Aide.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Helps to insure continuity of the Radiology Information System (RIS)
Helps to insure continuity of the Picture Archive and Communication Systems (PACS).
Helps to insure continuity of Windows and Linux servers
Helps to insure continuity of telecommunication systems.
Insures data backup
Assists network end users when necessary by providing technical expertise and advice as well as trouble-shooting issues with desktop systems
Assists physician partners when necessary by providing technical expertise and advice as well as trouble-shooting issues with desktop systems, RIS or PACS issues or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) issues
Helps to resolve conflicts in the RIS/PACS systems to assist technical staff
Assists the Information Systems Director with coordination of projects relative to software installation and testing, hardware repair and modification and/or resolving other technical and /or hardware issues
Assists in maximizing network uptime and dependability
Assists in keeping Wi-Fi Networks operational at all times
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a working knowledge of, and the ability to support the following systems:
o Microsoft Exchange Server
o Microsoft Active Directory
o Microsoft SharePoint
o Microsoft Server 2003 through 2008
o Microsoft Office 2003 -- 2013
o Windows XP
o Windows 7
o VMWare ESXi with Vcenter
o Network and local printers
o General networking knowledge
o A high level of troubleshooting skills
o Must have the ability to work independently
SKILLS NOT REQUIRED BUT PREFERRED:
o Linux OS knowledge
o Zimbra mail server
o Healthcare IT experience
o Citrix VDI-In-a-Box
