Open MRI
A closed MRI may not be for all patients. Claustrophobia is a real issue, and physical constraints can limit the ability of a patient to fit in a regular closed MRI unit
comfortably.
No one should be punished by insisting that they undergo closed imaging, or that they forego MRI completely due to their inability to complete the scan.
For these patients, we offer an open MRI, where patients can see their surroundings while being scanned. We are also the only free-standing facility in the Willamette Valley able to offer either open or high-field MRI when appropriate. Talk to us and we can find a solution for you.
